Orphanage volunteer in Nepal
Orphanage work in Nepal is a very rewarding program but can also be emotionally challenging. In this program you will be placed in an orphanage or care House where you will assist the children in their day to day routine. The general role of the volunteer will be to act as an older sibling: to care for, look after and encourage the children. Our teaching English program you will be placed in a local school to teach children to speak, read and write English and you take classes for 2-3 hrs daily from Sunday to Friday. Even if you’ve never formally taught a classroom subject, you can teach conversational English skills. All you need is enthusiasm and a desire to help youth students. Teaching English Program is based in Chitwan and Pokhara schools.
