We charge our volunteers a nominal amount for raising funds.

Our organization has no external funding and is relying on the volunteer program fees to be able to work and carryout all of our projects.

We are trying very hard to keep our costs down because it realizes volunteers are making a big sacrifice and have saved for a long time to come to Nepal.

The cost we quote is in US Dollars and Euros but we do accept payment in either currencies. Registration fee will secure your place on the program.

*Registration US$ 200 or EU € 150

For multiple-city placements:
There is an extra administrative fee.
For example: If you want to volunteer in Chitwan for 1 month and Pokhara for 1 month.

Above cost includes:

• Collection from the airport, transport to your placement
• Accommodation and main meals during placement
• Accommodation during language course and orientation
• Registration *
• Cultural sightsee
• Placement donation
• Language course
• Cultural/Orientation course

The cost does not include:

• Personal Insurance
• Flights (Domestic and International)
• Laundry service
• Drinks & Bar Bills
• Hotel Airport drop-off at end of program
• Visa fees
• RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Why pay to volunteer?

Volunteering in Nepal, you will incur many costs such as food, accommodation, transportation, transfers, project selection etc. We charge you the fee, all the money goes into providing you all these services.

Money is also spend on:-

• Advertising Online/Offline
• Salaries for staff
• Communication with volunteers and partners, by phone/email etc.
• International travel done by our staff to monitor projects and attend local meetings with partners
• Website maintenance.
• Government taxes
• Credit Card/Paypal processing charges
• In country maintenance of offices, vehicles etc
• Staff recruitment
• Volunteer recruitment
• Maintaining office and other expenses

Cancellation fees:

• Registration fees is non refundable.
• Before starting training program – 50% Refund.
• No money will be refunded once you start your placement and volunteer position are non transferable.
• No money will be refunded for a program of 2 weeks duration after commencement

Tourist Visa Fee

The government has also revised existing tourist visa fee to be effective from 16th July, 2008.

Multiple entry 15 days
= US$ 25 or equivalent convertible currency

Multiple entry 30 days
= US$ 40 or equivalent convertible currency

Multiple entry 90 days
= US$ 100 or equivalent convertible currency

Tourist Visa Extension

Likewise, the government has also revised fee required to extend days of stay and visa renewal. As per the revise fee structure, Tourist visa can be extended by paying US $ 2 or equivalent Nepalese currency per day. Likewise, Multiple Entry facility can be obtained only for the extension period by additional US $ 20 and visa fee for the extended period. Similarly, tourists can renew their visa by paying Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 3 on the regular visa extension fee.
